| [top] | 2008 Trialogen (forthcoming) Artists, scientists and productive consumers in dispute about the possibilities and impossibilities of intelligent technology now and in the near future. Both practical and ethical issues are to be addressed, ranging from the question how we became posthuman, the practical life of being a cyborg, the link between biopolitics and our makeover culture, genetic engineering and the threat of genetic class systems and its discriminating practices. A growing appreciation of the coincidental nature of our biological existence and realization of our human interdependence which plea for a different view of the world, is being taken in consideration as well. Feminist and integrationist utopia's are being restored, not only critically but as propositions for a better world. In collaboration with BAK, Utrecht. |
